First National Bank of Omaha's merchant processing subsidiary has contracted with e-commerce solutions vendor plaNet Consulting for the development of separate credit card authorisation and billing platforms.
Under the agreement, plaNet will provide software architecture, development, and maintenance services for the two platforms.
Nick Baxter, president of First of Omaha Merchant Processing, says: "These projects, when completed, will allow us to provide considerably improved credit card authorisation and related billing functionality to our existing clients."
