Seattle-based Safeco Insurance Company has selected Bisys' Web-based appointpak.com solution to automate its appointment, termination and letters of certification processing for licensing insurance agents.
Using the new system, Safeco will export the appropriate information about appointment or terminatination of contracts to Bisys for processing. Appointpak.com provides online access to the status of each appointment and termination, and exports processed transaction information to update the client’s internal database.
Sharon Freel, business system analyst for Safeco, says: “Our goals were to reduce paperwork, streamline workflow, and automate manual processes. We required a single system with one point of data entry that could be accessed by both our Indianapolis and Seattle offices."
