Barclays Bank has signed a three-year multi-million pound renewal contract with Getronics covering maintenance and installation services of its branch and office IT infrastructure.

Getronics is responsible for the maintenance of more than 270,000 of Barclays assets in over 3000 locations - including 8000 servers, 45,000 PCs and 3000 ATMs.

The agreement also covers Getronics' provision of installation and warehousing services to Barclays' 1800 branch locations.

The £57 million deal extends a 14-year relationship between bank and vendor.
