NetSys Technologies, a UK-based provider of FIX-compliant front office systems, has appointed Geoff Doubleday as a non-executive director.
Until recently, Doubleday was head of industry projects at international settlement agency Clearstream. He has also been a member of the board of Euroclear. Prior to this, he spent several years at Nomura International in London, where he was responsible for European operations, technology and strategic projects, having decamped from Credit Suisse First Boston with the entire IT team in tow.
He comments: "I look forward to participating in NetSys’ success as the company brings its new product range to market. NetSys is well tuned in to the needs of the front office and its products will have a significant impact in terms of enabling financial firms to benefit from greater efficiency and deeper levels of trading communication."
Late last month Netsys launched its FIX-based workstation, TradeStation.
