Clearstream International is to implement e*Gate Integrator, the flagship middleware product from SeeBeyond, to handle increasing volumes of transactions and the processing of ISO15022 Swift messages.
The European clearing and settlement organisation is delivering a single I/T system for clearing, settlement and custody and expects to see market volumes mushroom. The depository conducted a series of competitive benchmark tests at the Sun Microsystems laboratory in Paris to guauge whether SeeBeyond could handle the large volumes of message processing required.
SeeBeyond reached the overall target throughput, while also reporting the fastest throughput among the selected vendors, says the company. The benchmark included analysis, complex transformation and synchronous database access for ISO15022 Swift messages.
