iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions, a Sun-Netscape alliance company, has delivered a turnkey financial services portal solution combining online billing and plug-in for Identrus system security software. The system is designed to extend online banking operations to allow customers to view and pay bills online.
The solution has been developed to provide financial institutions with a personalised, scalable membership management infrastructure that can make use of the Identrus identity information, complete with Internet Bill Presentment and Payment (IBPP)capabilities.
The system is currently in use at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
The iPlanet Portal Server is priced at $25,000 per CPU (open access) and $90,000 per CPU (secure access); iPlanet Portal Server: Plug-in for Identrus system is priced at $15,000 per CPU (open access) and $35,000 per CPU (secure access); the iPlanet BillerXpert plug-in for iPlanet Portal Server is free and iPlanet BillerXpert is priced at $100,000 per CPU.
