The service will be based on moneysupermarket.com's Account Plus product, in which consumer account information from multiple sources is consolidated on a single Web page alongside comparative accounts from other providers. Both companies will take a revenue share from any products or services bought by consumers through the system.

The move represents the first time moneysupermarket.com has actively partnered with another financial product aggregator.

Mark Charlesworth, managing director of Creditweb UK says: "The potential for comparative account aggregation is enormous and will be an exciting concept for customers who have several financial service products...Teaming up with Moneysupermarket.com enables us to offer the facility to our customers at the earliest opportunity."
