Oman-based BankMuscat has signed a $3 million contract with CR2 Group for its channel banking platform, BankWorld.
Under terms of deal, the bank will integrate its branch banking, ATM and call centre system using BankWorld to provide a single view of individual customers across a range of delivery channels. Additional electronic channels will be added next year for the bank's enlarged customer base.
BankMuscat will also implement CR2's CardWorld Issuer and Producer solutions, giving the bank full control and in-house capability for its end-to-end card payments infrastructure.
The banking group, formed from the 2000 merger of Bank Muscat with Commercial Bank of Oman, already uses CR2 technology to run its national network of 126 ATMs.
