Domain Dynamics wins £3 million investment

UK-based Domain Dynamics Holdings has received a £3 million cash injection from a private source to accelerate the commercial uptake of its voice authentication and word recognition solutions for handheld devices and smart cards.

The company equips mobile phones, PDAs, smart cards, and a wide range of remote control devices with voice authentication and word recognition software for secure processing. The technology can be ported on to 8, 16 and 32 bit microprocessors.

Fredrik Verkroost, CEO of Domain Dynamics Holdings, says: "This £3 million cash investment will be used to develop both business-to-business and consumer-oriented applications with third party solutions providers to supply voice biometric and recognition solutions for a new generation of handheld devices and smart cards. It will also be used to expand the development of signal processing applications in industrial condition monitoring."
