Polish bank Górnoslaski Bank Gospodarczy has licensed Sanchez Computer Associates' Profile multi-currencey banking solution for its retail operations.
The bank chose Profile version 6.3 to be euro-compliant as Poland moves to bring banks in line with the market requirements of the European Union's common currency.
Profile’s agent processing functions will supply the bank with the back-office settlement and accounting for commission-based sales of GBG's primary auto loans business. Other products offered by the bank include current accounts (deposit), investment accounts, consumer loans, guarantees and cash advances, credit cards and processes both domestic and foreign payments. The solution will also interface to the existing agent/broker front-end application operating in agent offices.
In addition to Profile version 6.3, GBG has licensed Profile for Windows as its branch front-end application and will use Sanchez FMS, the Financial Management System, as the bank’s general ledger system.
Tadeusz Wnuk, president of Górnosl¹ski Bank Gospodarczy (GBG), says: “Sanchez’ Profile provides our bank with an integrated solution centred on the customer and a modern processing infrastructure that supports our requirement to deliver our products and services through multiple channels, including those we are contemplating for the future.”
