CSFBdirect Institutional, a business unit of CSFBdirect, the online brokerage arm of Credit Suisse First Boston, has revamped its Web-based services for independent registered investment advisors.
The service provides investment advisors with real-time client account information, online cashiering, institutional market research, and portfolio reporting tools.
Advisors using custodial services now have access to online equity research including stock reports and macroeconomic and sector analysis; an online facility for initiating and tracking Acat and non-Acat transfers electronically; and real-time news based on symbol, portfolio or industrial sector from Dow Jones Newswires.
The revamped service has been integrated with London Pacific Advisors' (LPA) research management software to allow advisors to find and select professional money managers online, based on their clients' investment objectives. Version 2.0 also includes a tool for advisors to build block orders based on targets and automatically allocate trades across customisable household groups.
