Under the agreement, Bloomberg will become a member of the CCBN Investor Distribution Network, enabling over 200,000 users accessing the Bloomberg Professional desktop to receive data from the CCBN StreetEvents service. This provides institutional investors with a master calendar of upcoming conference calls, earnings releases, live and archived Webcasts, shareholders meetings and other investment-related events sourced directly from over 6,000 public companies and 100 sell-side institutions.

Roland Beaulieu, executive vice president and chief operating officer of CCBN, describes the deal as a win-win situation. "Users of the Bloomberg Professional service benefit from greater access to comprehensive corporate information, while CCBN's investor relations clients gain a powerful channel of communication to the institutional investment community and yet another means to meet Regulation Fair Disclosure requirements."
