Nasdaq streams quotes using Caplin data protocol

Editorial

This content has been selected, created and edited by the Finextra editorial team based upon its relevance and interest to our community.

Using RTTP, Nasdaq Online will provide over 14,000 senior executives with the ability to view, extract, organise and manage real-time company price quotes.

Bill Teague, Nasdaq's managing director of issuer product marketing, says: "Chief financial officers, chief executive officers at all Nasdaq companies have a demand for immediacy and want to see how their company is performing. If they can easily access and monitor performance, they can act upon it and ensure that their investors are happy with the stock."
