Back office systems supplier Wilco International has appointed Chris Evans from ACT to the newly created position of major accounts manager for Europe. He will be based in London and report to Lee Staines, Wilco's European sales manager.
In his new position, Evans will be responsible for Wilco's UK and European account management team. The focus of his role is business development within the company's existing institutional UK and European customer base and to further strengthen contacts and relationships with these customers.
Prior to joining Wilco, Evans worked for ACT for seven years in a number of senior sales positions, initially in the front office division, before taking on sales of the Nova system. Latterly he also had responsibility for sales of the RIMS systems, following the acquisition of Synopsys by ACT's parent company Misys.
