Barclays Bank is looking to help customers find the best package from a bamboozling array of TV and broadband bundles on the market with a new Internet banking service.
The free 'Simplifydigital' service, which is available to all online banking customers through the bank's shopping package SmartSpend, comes just in time for the new Barclays Premier League season and is intended
Billed as a way to relegate the potential stress of choosing the right TV package, users enter their postcode to view the best deals from a range of TV, broadband and phone bundles in their area. If they want to switch, customers can then do so either online, or by calling a dedicated team of UK based experts. As a further incentive, Barclays is offering users of its new Blue Reward current account a £25 bonus if they choose to switch to another provider. Regular account holders will get £20 cashback.
