Patsystems poaches ICL men Carmichael and Thorpe

Electronic trading software house patsystem has appointed ICL men Ron Carmichael and Mike Thorpe to the business development and client services team, both based in London.

Carmichael joins as head of alliances and partnerships, reporting to Roger Colletta, executive director. At ICL, he directed the company's push into major international banks as client director from 1999-01.

Thorpe joins as head of account management UK, also reporting to Roger Colletta. A former Citibanker, Thorpe was most recently client director, financial services division with ICL in London, where he was responsible for the company's ongoing relationship and P&L with two global investment banks.
