The Brut ECN has completed its FIX link with buy-side trade order management systems provider Macgregor in an initiative to provide electronic order execution services to institutional customers.

The link will provide clients with access to Brut's trading platform via the Macgregor FIX network. Such an arrangement provides buy-side clients with an electronic solution incorporating trade execution and order management functionality.

Steven Levy, president and CEO of Macgregor, comments: "At Macgregor, we are committed to expanding the reach of our investment community by providing connectivity to all of the external resources our institutional clients need in support of true STP. Linking to Brut is yet another step toward this goal."
