Brut ECN develops front-end technology for institutional business

The Brut Workstation includes the implementation of the Sponsorship Model, which will enable institutional customers to repatriate a majority of each trade's commission dollars to a broker/dealer of their choice.

Richard Schenkman, CEO, The Brut ECN, says: "The roll-out of The Brut Workstation is the next phase in our business strategy. First we created strong broker/dealer partnerships. Next we built a broad base of liquidity and volume. Now, after months of user testing and feedback, we've built a highly sophisticated front-end as a vehicle for delivering our Sponsorship Model to the institutional community."

The Brut Workstation, which runs on Windows 2000 and Windows NT, was developed with the support of New York-based technology vendor TheBeast, Inc.
