The hardware, software and services package will provide straight-through-processing (STP) capabilities for immediate trade execution. It complies with the Securities Industry Association's one-day, trade settlement (T+1) mandate.

Under the agreement, CSS's new Sabil software will run on a Unisys e-@ction Enterprise Server ES7000.

Chris Poelma, president and CEO, Comprehensive Software Systems, says: "The ability to offer our customers the option of a complete software and hardware solution on a Windows-based platform is unmatched in the industry today."

CSS will also use the Unisys ES7000 in a testing centre for product research, developing and benchmarking.
