UK-based investment administration software house Cor Systems has appointed Steve Osborne as executive chairman and Chris Brooke as business development director. Both will be based in the company's new City office.

Steve Osborne joins the company from DataStream International where he held the position of CEO. Prior to this Osborne was CEO of Primark Investment Management Services.

"Expansion is planned across all business areas with a series of joint ventures and strategic acquisitions in the pipeline. In addition to supporting UK and offshore markets, we plan to expand into continental Europe with an initial focus on the Benelux region," says Osborne.

Chris Brooke will be responsible for corporate development, managing acquisitions, developing partnerships and securing joint venture agreements. Brooke joins Cor Systems from Primark Investment Management Services where he held the position of business development director.

The newly-established London office houses COR Systems' corporate, sales and marketing functions. Cor Systems' flagship product Co-Stars is a multi-functional software suite centred on marketing and investment administration for investment products. It has been designed to support single management companies, third party administrators (transfer agency) and fund supermarkets.
