UK finance information vendor Markit has launched an iPad application that will give users access to research and analysis from investment banking analysts, beginning with Deutsche Bank.
Markit Hub provides institutional investors with direct-to-source access to research, commentary, news and data from global banks and major third-party providers through a single entry point.
The new, free, Hub iPad app will initially have outside content from Deutsche Bank but Markit says additional providers will be added. Users are able to search content across providers and categories, create alerts, and save and annotate documents.
SEB, Barclays Capital, RBS, JPMorgan and UBS are among a host of bulge bracket investment banks to have embraced the popular Apple tablet as a means for providing institutional clients with researchy on the go.
