The free service combines the bank's My Spending Report, Budget Watch and My Savings Plan tools to give customers an overview of their financial picture.

Wells Fargo says the site has an intuitive interface with easy to review bar charts that show monthly spending by category, current savings and monthly spending versus budget goals. Totals are automatically updated daily.

Patrick Smith, SVP, online financial management, Wells Fargo, says: "We all know how important it is to set financial goals - we also know that sticking to them is the hard part. My Money Map will help Wells Fargo customers not only set goals, but achieve them."

A recent survey from vendor Fiserv found that Americans prefer to access PFM tools through banking Web sites, with security concerns trumping the advantages, such as account aggregation, offered by third party providers.
