BNP Paribas has signed a multi-million dollar deal for a global content and technology solution. This includes access to Reuters' 3000 Xtra service for 3,500 users.
Reuters 3000 Xtra offers finance professionals access to its international cross-asset information. It includes Kobra, a desktop application which integrates and combines data from multiple sources.
The agreement includes an option to purchase 700 licences for TIB Rendezvous. This messaging middleware links communication between the front office and other bank operations, including middle and back office.
The Reuters 3000 Xtra service will be deployed to support a range of BNP Paribas' activities. These include fixed income, corporate banking, equities and buy-side operations in key centres such as Paris, London, New York, Zurich, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.
