The capital markets arm of the French bank will use the service to support its fixed income and foreign exchange business around the globe including Paris, London, New York, Singapore, Bangkok, Madrid, and Milan. The positions will run on an existing TIB platform used by the bank worldwide. The latest contract brings the total number of 3000 Xtra positions ordered by the bank to 950.

Didier Schnurr, real time integration manager, Crédit Agricole Indosuez, says: "We chose Reuters 3000 Xtra because of its openness which allows all applications and information to be integrated into a single desktop. In addition, the ability to customise views and analytics to match the preferences of individuals makes it a powerful tool enabling users to access their own unique view of the market."
