First Data has hired Wachovia veteran Steve Boehm as senior vice president leading global product management and innovation at its financial services division.
Boehm spent 17 years at Wachovia, most recently acting as co-leader for the bank's integration with Wells Fargo following their 2008 merger.
Prior to that, he spent time as president of card and payment solutions, general manager of contact centres, and chief operating officer of the customer direct access division, covering cards, Web banking and customer service.
Before joining the bank he led member relations for the western United States for Visa USA, ran financial services product management for the American Automobile Association and acted as chief operating officer of the credit card business at First Virginia Bank.
