Sema Group has appointed former Europay executive Jennifer Fitzgerald as head of business consultancy for the company's International Payment Systems division.
As a senior managing consultant at Europay, Fitzgerlad was responsible for a number of initiatives to expand and develop the portfolio of card products, focusing in particular on credit and charge cards. She also managed the introduction of new premium products such as World Signia and Platinum.
Prior to Europay, Fitzgerald worked for Barclaycard where she held a number of different roles, including strategy development for Barclaycard's expansion into continental Europe.
At Sema, Fitzgerald has been charged with developing and expanding the company's consultancy services and capabilities for the payment systems industry.
