Under the agreement, CSC will provide information technology (IT), strategic planning and data services. CSC will also oversee installation and integration of Internet banking facilities, an automated call centre, online brokerage and a package of e-commerce services.

In addition to a data warehouse, IBA will utilise CSC's customer relationship management (CRM) software to accelerate response time to customer needs. The component-based solution, 3r Evolution 4.0 enables financial services institutions to communicate with customers via the Internet, as well as through other traditional and emerging channels.

Standard solution components include workflow optimisation, document/image management, communications and dynamic scripting. The components run in a variety of environments, and allow customers to contact their financial services provider via the Internet to collect information, request quotations, service their accounts and correspond online using an Internet chat facility.
