Charles Schwab is to offer the BridgeNews Bulletins for Business service over its PocketBroker wireless trading facility.
Angus Robertson, executive vice president, Bridge, says: "Leveraging technology developed by the Bridge Internet Solutions division, we have worked closely with Schwab to craft a complete solution that keeps users connected to market sensitive news whether they are at home or on the go."
The BridgeNews Bulletins service provides details of major company events and announcements, accessible through company ticker symbols. It also includes access to top world financial and economic policy news. Users have the opportunity to view the real-time "headlines" for a quick skim of key events, or can drill down into entire stories by symbol, industry, and subject navigation.
Bridge's PocketBroker news content will be made available to customers at the same time as it is delivered to trading rooms, say the companies.
