Brief: CIBC migrates branch platform to Windows 2000

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is claiming deployment of the world's first native Windows 2000 server platform for retail branch banking. The implementation was managed by Financial Models Company, which migrated CIBC's Coins server system from a legacy environment to the MS Web solution.

The new platform will be deployed to approximately 1300 bank branches and 20,000 bank employees across Canada says CIBC.
