Performance management software provider Systar has hired industry veteran Gilles Leflambe to beef up its Emea financial services sales team.
Leflambe, who joins the firm as vice president, sales, Emea financial services, has over 30 years of experience in banking and information technology.
He worked in the international department of Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaires as executive vice president before joining Swift as VP, where he was responsible for the foundation of IP-based messaging network, SwiftNet.
He has also worked for Societe Generale as deputy director, banking services before becoming a consultant on banking services for financial institutions and technology integrators.
Commenting on the appointment, Philippe Guénault, EVP, Systar, says: "We are very pleased to welcome Gilles Leflambe on board. His outstanding international banking experience, from both the business and IT perspectives, is a major asset for Systar."
Systar claims 10 of the world's 15 largest banks as customers, including Barclays, BNP Paribas, Santander and Societe Generale.
