UK banking group HSBC has named former Visa and JP Morgan man Michael Cannon as its new head of payments and cash management, Europe.
Cannon, who joined HSBC earlier this month from Visa International Service Association, is based in London. Before joining Visa he worked for JP Morgan Chase managing sales and product teams focused on cash management.
Alan Keir, group general manager, commercial banking, HSBC, says: "We're delighted to have Michael on board. I have no doubt that his global experience and technical know-how will benefit our customer base and help drive profitability and growth in the region."
