Tarak Achiche, the head of information systems at Euronext who oversaw the integration of the French, Dutch and Belgian exchanges to form the pan-European exchange, has quit his post.
Achiche - who has also been chairman of Euronext's operational and risk committees since 2004 - has left the company after 13 years to "pursue new career options", according to a short statement released by Nyse Euronext.
Achiche's exit from the company follows the departure earlier this year of Jean-Marc Bouhelier, the chief executive and chairman of Euronext's technology JV, Atos Euronext. Olivier Lefebvre, the head of Euronext Brussels, also left the organisation in August.
Nyse Euronext says a replacement for Achiche will be designated soon. Larry Leibowitz, recruited from UBS Americas in June, remains in charge of global technology.
