The Mint Global Swift Interface (Mint GSI) solution has been developed by SunGard Business Integration and is designed for large financial institutions with global Swift operations to replace their end-of-life products with a consolidated multi-hub infrastructure.

The solution enables straight-through processing of transactions with a single window into current Swift FIN services and future SwiftNet compatibility, says the vendor.

Urs Rutschmann, chief operating officer for SunGard Business Integration comments: "The Mint GSI platform delivers complex routing facilities, inter-branch Swift traffic management and control and enables local branches to leverage a common hub through the Mint Multi-Branch functionality."

The system includes transformation capabilities, exception handling and intelligent business rules, modeled with user-friendly GUI tools, he adds.
