South African bank Capitec is rolling out Vasco's two-factor authentication tokens to provide corporate clients with secure access to online banking services.
Vasco says Capitec's business customers will use its Digipass GO3 tokens for internal and external transfers, bulk payments and to view statements.
The token, designed for large volume banking, generates a single-use password for accessing online applications.
Riaan Statsse, CEO, Capitec, says: "Digipass GO3 is a proven product combining high security and a very high user friendliness."
The vendor says Capitec is its first banking client in South Africa.
