Irish brokerage firm Goodbody Stockbrokers is rolling out Thomson Financial's market data technology across its institutional equities, private client, international bonds and corporate finance divisions.

Under terms of the three-year agreement, Thomson will implement 50 positions of its domestic real-time market data platform GlobalTopic, which the vendor says will equip Goodbody users with financial news and internationally-compliant trading functions.

Thomson Datastream, a historical financial numerical database of multiple asset classes will be rolled across 30 positions.

The vendor says its Thomson One Investment Banking desktop will also be deployed across five Goodbody positions and will enable users to combine Thomson and third-party resources with their own data and applications to create a proprietary workflow.
