Misys says the bank will deploy its Operational Risk Center (OCR) database application to control and manage its operational risk profile, perform quantitative measurement of operational risks and comply with various regulatory requirements, including Basel II.

Misys' local partner Interexa will support the implementation.

Michel van Leeuwen, CEO, risk management, Misys Banking Systems, says: "ORC is a solution developed by banks for banks and has become the de facto solution for operational risk control and management in Central & Eastern Europe."

The vendor says ORC will replace the existing internal system at the bank.
