Diebold says the terminals will be deployed throughout the bank's 600 branches. BBL operates a network of some 1700 ATMs.

The machines will operate on Diebold's Agilis software platform - an open system that allows multiple vendors' terminals and technologies to co-exist on an ATM network.

The Opteva line features fraud-resistant dispenser and card reader, consumer awareness mirrors, recessed keypad and display area and privacy display filters to prevent shoulder surfing. Units also include a triple DES-compliant encrypted PIN pad.
