The appointment of Untiedt follows a two month search for a new CEO after the resignation of the previous incumbent Wolfgang Nier in December.

As senior vice president of TSC eLoyalty, Untiedt was responsible for the company’s operations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria for the last two years.

Untiedt previously spent 14 years with NCR. He was latterly regional managing director of the CTI/call centre solution across Europe. Prior to that, he was director of professional services and a member of the NCR German board. His other positions at NCR included director of sales for savings banks throughout Germany with responsibility for sales and support operations, as well as director of European SSD operations.

Commenting on the appointment, CSK Corporation executive VP, Teiichi Aruga, who has been heading the CSK Software management committee, says: "Hannes brings to CSK Software valuable sales, marketing, and management experience gained in high profile project, product and services organisations. He has proven technical capability and vital understanding of financial markets."
