Electronic bill presentment and payment consolidator Clear has appointed Kelley Knutson - former senior vice president of GE Capital - as its chief executive officer.
Knutson will be responsible for the overall strategic development of three year-old Clear, with specific emphasis on investment and partnership opportunities. He will also head Clear's expansion efforts in Europe.
While at GE Capital, Knutson was responsible for developing and executing the global consumer finance division's overall plastic card strategy. Previously, Knutson was senior vice president, Visa International, responsible for developing and marketing Visa's debit products throughout Europe.
