The New York moneycentre bank is the first customer for Global Market Pro, a wireless application designed for traders and financial professionals in the wholesale financial markets. Chase dealers participated in the development process and took part in the final beta test of the application.

The product provides real-time financial data from leading news and information sources, including Reuters, Market News International and GovPX. It has been engineered for a variety of portable platforms including, RIM Inter@ctive 950, two-way pagers, WAP phones and the Palm VII. The application features a portfolio customisation Web site interface, allowing users to set event or time driven push alerts based on specific criteria or establish custom portfolios for real-time on-demand data requests.

Chase Global Markets says it will continue to work with Datalink.net to expand the product's features and capabilities.
