Japan's Sumitomo Trust & Banking has gone live with Calypso Technology's front-to-back foreign exchange trading software.

Sumitomo says it will use the technology to support its interbank and customer FX trading operations. Calypso worked with the bank to customise the application to comply with Japanese market requirements.

The vendor says its system enables bulk entry of trades, rollover and allocation of trades, and margin control and limit management.
