Electronic dealing platform Swapstream has hired Stephane Rio as chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Swapstream, Rio spent five years at Commerzbank as Head of IRS Trading. Stephane also worked for Commerz Financial Products and Credit Lyonnais.
Rio replaces former CEO Marcus Grubb who departed this summer citing "personal reasons".
The appointment follows a recent announcement that the platform has gained a significant increase in its liquidity commitments, bringing its quote size to EUR800m on bid and offer.
