French banking group BNP Paribas is rolling out Reuter's Trade Access - a Web-based system that provides remote access to the vendor's Kondor+ platform - to 100 remote staff across Europe and Asia.
Trade Access enables users to connect to the Kondor+ position keeping system from a Web browser. The system's Web interface allows deal capture, reports, position keeping, pricing and Microsoft Excel import and export.
Reuters says the system is particularly suitable for smaller trading rooms and branches that have minimum local infrastructure.
Jerome Dubois, head of IT treasury at BNP Paribas, says the bank was looking for a a user friendly, Web based system for remote users that could be integrated into existing information systems and have a low support cost.
