Muzo deploys Level Four tools for EMV testing

06 October 2004  |  3303 views  |  0 cards emv_1

Czech payments processing firm Muzo is implementing Level Four Software's ATM testing technology to assist in the migration of its cash machine network to EMV standards.

Muzo has licensed the ATM Simulator, EMV FastTrack and Load Group Manager modules from the vendor's ATM Channel Development Suite.

The firm will deploy Level Four's ATM Simulator with the EMV FastTrack plug-in for simulation and testing of the upgrades required for EMV compliance. The tools will connect to Muzo's ACI Base24 host system as a simulated ATM, automate regression testing of EMV-based transactions and automate testing of all possible smart card fault scenarios.

UK-based Level Four says the Load Group Manager module will simplify the management of load groups - a subset of ATM configuration data that is used by the host system. The applicattion will enable Muzo to edit, update and test the ATM configuration data.

Pavel Slepicka, operations director and board member, Muzo, says the technology "will improve the efficiency of testing and speed the deployment of new EMV transaction processing capability through our extensive multi-vendor ATM network".
