EuroConex Technologies, an Ireland-based payment processing subsidiary of Nova Information Systems, has appointed Ketil Fridheim as CEO of its Nordic division and Jim Harrow as director of UK operations.
Fridheim's appointment follows the acquisition of SEB Kort's merchant acquiring business in Norway, Euroline Norge, which was formerly called Europay Norge.
Fridheim was most recently deputy CEO of Europay Norge. He joined the firm as vice president in 1996 and was responsible for the acquiring business. He was appointed to deputy CEO in 1999 when he took over responsibility for corporate business development, corporate finance, e-business and IT.
Harrow joins euroConex from Visa EU where he was senior vice president, payment processing services. He has worked in the cards industry for 15 years, holding a number of senior management positions. Harrow has also acted as an independent consultant, working with a variety of clients including American Express.
