UK-based Card Tech Limited (CTL) has signed Pakistan's United Bank Limited (UBL) and Union Bank to its card and merchant management software, Prime.
The two banks are CTL's first client wins in Pakistan.
Malek Mroueh, CTL's sales manager in the region, announced the contracts at a conference hosted by the vendor.
"The banks we have spoken to today recognise the card issuance and merchant acquiring opportunities that exist in this high-growth market place. Our banking partners, who have signed with us to date, are now ready to take full advantage of these opportunities," says Mroueh.
