Mizuho live with City Networks' CityNet technology

Japanese bank Mizuho has gone live with City Network's integrated confirmation, payment and reconciliation technology across its treasury operation centres in London, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The bank has installed the vendor's CityNet product suite, which includes Matching, Reconciliation, Investigation, Bank Gateway and Broker Fee Reconciliation modules.

City Networks says the integrated system provides the bank with an unbroken chain of processing from trade confirmation, through payment release to final reconciliation.

Riichi Ito, deputy general manger, at Mizuho's IT and systems planning division in Tokyo, says: "City Networks' ability to support our business globally and to adapt to new industry requirements has satisfied our high supplier requirements."
