The bank has purchsed the cash and intra-day modules of the CityNet Reconciliation package which it will use to settle nostro, internal and intra-day transactions. The CityNet Investigation module automates the handling of any exceptions resulting from the reconciliations process.

The City Networks technology replaces a manual and paper-based processes and a packaged reconciliation system.

Hanna Mantorska, head of monitoring at ING Bank Slaski Poland, says: "By maintaining IT efficiency, we can improve our operational capabilities, minimise risk and move closer to a true STP environment."
