Friends Ivory & Sime is to use the Pages solution from Financial Models Company (FMC) to generate client statements and automatically retrieve report data from multiple back-end systems.
The UK fund manager will use Pages to produce targetted reports and statements for clients on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis. The generated reports use conditional logic to enable Friends Ivory & Sime to file reports appropriate to each client and their holdings. In addition, each fund manager has the option to add comment to individual reports and further tailor them to meet the specific needs of each client.
Ewen Melling, director of information technology, Friends Ivory & Sime, says the company required a solution to generate client reports automatically at varying frequency. "After reviewing several systems we chose Pages because of its ability to consolidate information from multi-data sources, employing an application structure that closely matches our existing processes," he says.
