UFJ will use the technology to ensure data is passed seamlessly from one trading system to another at near real-time speeds.

Vitria says the implementation will simplify the business flows related to wholesale transactions, resulting in faster turnaround times. Furthermore, the system will improve existing business processes in anticipation of initiatives such as a planned move to ticketless transactions.

Dale Skeen, co-founder and CEO, Vitria, says: "For most of our customers, STP is a matter of linking together a wide variety of applications from several best-of-breed software vendors, each of which individually serves a critical business purpose...That requires a solution built on a platform like Vitria:BusinessWare that is standards-based, scalable and flexible."
